    Can’t reduce or increase excerpt on Blog widget when I use custom excerpt! Please check and fix it.

    Also add an option to enable read more still use this [……] as indication of there is more text available.

    @mohsinworld If your post already have its excerpt field, then the excerpt length will not be applied and the excerpt you added for the post will be shown without changes

    Please find a way to follow the word count on the widget setting. Example: If I set 30 words even if the custom excerpt is 90 words, it will show only 30 words as except. Otherwise, the block becomes bigger and the featured image gets chopped. Thanks

    I’m so sorry, but as mentioned above, you will need to remove the excerpt text added in post’s excerpt field if you want excerpt length to be applied.
