Excerpt and content on same page?

Is there a way that the more link at the end of a post can lead to a place on the same page instead of going to the archives or full post page?

For example I want to use mootools slide to hide the content that is truncated and the more link would UNHIDE it directly underneath the excerpt.

I can do this easily by just typing an excerpt and normal content but i would rather just type up a post normally without the use of optional excerpt and include a more link that just unhides the content, is this possible?
