Control Excerpt Length using Filters

function wpdocs_custom_excerpt_length( $length ) {
    return 32;
}
add_filter( 'excerpt_length', 'wpdocs_custom_excerpt_length', 999 );

The 32 value is how many characters to display when the_excerpt is used within the theme, change this to suit. The default value is 55.

I recommend adding this to your functions.php file using a Child Theme so you can update the Dyad theme in the future without losing your code modifications.
