Exceptional Design! Brilliant!

  • This does so much more than just load Google Fonts, it creates a user interface to test and view typography design in real time before applying to the whole site.

    This plugin makes typography design about as easy as it gets. Works just like the video which is a must watch before starting.

    Since the Google Fonts library is so big, it would be nice to have the ability to narrow the selection by creating a group to compare or something like a playlist to make it easier to build custom controls from a limited group.

    The only thing that might make it better would be to show the font example in the pull down menu but that’s not a show stopper since the preview screen displays the fonts as you scroll down the selection menu with the arrow keys.

    Thanks for taking the time to leave such a great review, much appreciated. Glad you like the plugin. I think that creating a a group/playlist of fonts is a brilliant idea! I’m going to see how we can implement it in the plugin in a future release.

    I saw a few websites that showcased the least crappy Google fonts. That alone is enough to make this plugin a lot easier without having to add endless lines of code. (Just my two cents). A quick google search solves a LOT of guessing on which fonts to use.

    Killer plugin BTW.
