I just bought the pro version of the ME Calendar plugin and I’m very happy with it.

A cronjob I’ve set at 419AM each night is successfully done. However, after the cronjob is finished, the exceptional days are no longer excluded from the agenda.

A ‘solution’ is to go to the page where the exceptional days are set and to press the save button. This kind of re-stores the exceptional days so they’re not shown in the agenda anymore. Is there a way to solve this ‘bug’ or issue, so I don’t have to manually press the save button of my exceptional days, each time a cronjob has been done?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @havemaskwilltravel,

Actually, we don’t know what is your cron job command on your site, however, the set exceptional days automatically in MEC, unfortunately, not possible.

The cron job command I’m using is the one suggested by your plugin itself under ME Calendar > Import/Export > Synchronization:

    /home/deb108592n2/domains/dedeurzwolle.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/modern-events-calendar/app/crons/g-import.php

The cron job is done perfectly, however, each time it is done, the exceptional days become included in the agenda. I have to manually re-save the exceptional days in order for them to be excluded from the agenda.

You can test this yourself by setting 1 or 2 exceptional days, then performing a cron job and then checking to see if the exceptional days are still excluded from the agenda. Can you please test this?

Doing some tests, I’ve discovered this:

Let’s say I have published repeat event ‘ABC’ in my Google calendar, which is repeated every Sunday. Now I change the April 19th event name into ‘Event ABC cancelled’ (in Google calendar). When I then perform a cronjob import, ME calendar seems to think the edited April 19th event is a 2nd event. In the front-end the April 19 calendar cell now shows 2 events: ‘ABC’ and ‘Event ABC cancelled’.

However, when I edit the name of a normal non repeat event (in Google calendar) and perform a cronjob import, ME calendar shows this properly in the front-end, displaying 1 event only, not 2.
