Exception Thrown on Activating Plugin

When activating NextGEN Gallery, I get an error that makes my entire website unaccessible and says:
Exception thrown
not defined for ExtensibleObjectI see that many people are having this issue and was wondering if there was a solution found yet.
My site is hosted on HostGator and here is the server info.
