I recently updated my nextgen plugin and it caused an entire site crash. Here is the following warning:

    MAIN PAGE (No NGG Gallery)

@xclone – At first look, I would suspect a conflict with WP Super Cache given it is being referred to in those messages but we are not aware of any current conflicts.

That being written, have you tried clearing all caches, deactivating WP Super Cache and NextGEN Gallery, ensuring any caching artifacts are removed from the site and then reactivating NextGEN Gallery only?

I cleared the WP super cache and disabled the plugin. Still getting this on the gallery:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home4/brianmul/public_html/2014/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/pope/lib/class.component_registry.php on line 610
    Exception thrown

    add_post_hook not defined for ExtensibleObject

And this on the main page:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home4/brianmul/public_html/2014/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/pope/lib/class.component_registry.php on line 610

I should note that when I enable to nextgen plugin, it goes to a white screen instead of back to the plugin page. Ive tried deleting and re-adding the nextgen plugin already.

It actually looks like the nextgen plus plugin I am using needs an update but I can’t find out how to do it. Once I deactivated that the warning I am getting is this:

    DEFAULT GALLERY TYPE TEMPLATE

This is the default gallery type template, located in:
    /home4/brianmul/public_html/2014/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_gallery_display/templates/index.php.

If you’re seeing this, it’s because the gallery type you selected has not provided a template of it’s own.

Ok.. it looks like the Nextgen Plus plugin is what was causing the issue. When I tried to update it automatically it was misdirecting me to a page that didn’t exist. I just bought a new copy so I could get the update running.

@xclone – Thanks for all of the updates!
