Exception doesn’t work properly

Hi,
I tried to add some exception to the service provider and choosed the closed option for the exception status.
Ufortunately, after the save the status change for open.
Please be so kind and help to fix it.
The aim is similar to my other topic, I would like to limit the availability period and enable to book only beetwen min. 2 and max. 15 days before the appointment.
