Exceprts

  • I am using Live Search together with Relevanssi. It works great in terms of the search results matching (live search shows the same results I get when I execute the search).

    The problem is that Live Search is not using the Relevanssi excerpts. I checked the option “Display an excerpt for every search result. If the post doesn’t have one, use the first X characters” and indeed it shows the first X characters.

    When I do the search, Relevanssi correctly shows the excerpts that it indexed that contain the searched word. Would be great if I could see THOSE excerpts during the Live Search. I think that was the intent?
