Excellent plugin, Thank you!

Been using Shield for a while now and I am 100% satisfied. I find it remarkable what it offers in the free version. Before installing anything I always read the 1 star comments. In this case I have to say to future users reading this, the few negative ratings here are not representative for the plugin. If people expect a security plugin to be automatically configured out of the box, they should never install one. It’s never fair to blame a vendor for not understanding the features or too lazy to read the basic as minimum.

I find the plugin easy to setup for the basic use, supplied with a neat collection of advanced functions. The log system is detailed and I have had login attempt’s enough to be happy I have some extra security. One thing I would warn about regarding the plugin – take care with the 2 factor email setting. If your smtp or other sendign solution breaks you can be in big problems, unless you know how to workaround it on your server. Don’t blame the plugin if that happens…
