Excellent Plugin, one question though

  • This plugin has worked wonders for me by blocking on a page basis. I have even donated a small amount to the author so that it encourages him to keep the good work going. Thanks for the plugin.

    One lame question though for which I am a bit confused:

    Regarding the “Day Restrictor” option if I decrease the slider from the default 7 days to lesser, will it become stricter or more liberal? Or vice versa?

    Hi Maleen,

    The Day Restrictor option if decreased below 7 days would make it much more liberal, the higher in days it is set to the stricter it will be.

    Basically we have control over how recent the IP was detected as bad in the actions we take related to it. if you set it to the maximum, then it would block IP’s detected as bad up to 60 days ago. I would generally recommend this option is left as default (7 days). I should update the text below this setting to make it clearer.
