Excellent plugin, fit for purpose
-
WP Recipe Maker is an excellent plugin, reliable, easy enough for a beginner to use, fit for purpose, and well-supported. For now, I use the free version, but I hope to use the options to scale recipes, switch between metric and imperial measurements, and make it possible for readers to submit their own recipes, if I attract readers to my website.
I am informed that that it is possible to send and receive recipes (without retyping) between two websites, if they both use WPRM.
I wish that this plugin included a table of contents or index function (to prepare a list of recipes), but the author responds that he has another plugin to compile a grid of posts. I could also keep a separate list in a separate post and then group and link the posts with the recipes. This would require maintaining this list separately. This is NOT a complaint, but simply a wish list of a function to compile a tables of contents or index of all the recipes, possibly organized by categories, automatically.
