• This plugin meets a real need: it enables you to turn on full-page caching via CloudFlare. And it does so with an excellent, intuitive interface that is used mostly for the one-time configuration (i.e., this plugin primarily runs unseen in the background).

Specifically, when you activate the Sunny plugin to handle CloudFlare cache purging, you can then turn on CloudFlare’s “cache everything” page rule and set a custom TTL value for the edge-cache. Doing these two things will override the default WordPress cache headers and thus enable full-page caching of your posts and pages at CloudFlare’s network edge.

(Note: this caching strategy assumes you have removed the server-side dynamic elements from your posts and pages or converted them to client-side/JavaScript-based elements. For instance, if you use the default WP comments system, you need to convert your comments to run on a JavaScript-based system such as Disqus or Muut. Or if you have a PHP-based Contact Us form, you need to switch to an AJAX-powered form such as Contact Form 7. Etc.)
