Hello, I love this plugin and will be looking to purchase sub. I installed yesterday and did the email spam test.

Today, I am unable to login to the wp-admin panel. Could it be due to my IP address being blocked? (as a result of the spam test).

I tried whitelisting my IP but am still getting 404 error for the login page.

Please advise and thank you for this excellent plugin.

    Hello, @hohori

    Thank you for your request.

The Anti-Spam plugin does not block access to web-site.

To delete the plugin please, follow these steps:
    1. Log in to your Hosting Account.
    2. Locate the folder of your website.
    3. Delete the Security Plugin’s folder here: /wp-content/plugins/antispambycleantalk
    4. Try to log in to your website.

Did it help to restore the access to the admin area?

    Hi Amagsumov:

I don’t have that plugin file.

    But have this one: cleantalk-spam-protect.

    Should I delete that one?

    Yes, delete this folder.

    Thank you.

    Hi

Deleted folder and then tried to login >> got 404.

Then tried incognito and was able to get to the login page. So not sure what is happening.

Using Chrome: So dumped cookies and cache … still getting 404.

But from incognito seems to work.

It seems that this issue isn’t related to CleanTalk plugin.

Recommend you to try to login using another web-browser and contact your web hosting support.

I tested cleantalk with the stop_email…

Should I go to cleantalk dashboard and delete that test, or whitelist the IP address since it’s mine?

    Thanks

Sure, if you don’t want your personal IP address to be blocked you can add it to your personal white lists.

    The guide is here:
    https://cleantalk.org/help/blacklist-usage

But your issue isn’t related to the anti-spam protection. Our plugin doesn’t block the access to the web-sites.

Thank you Amagsumov … Might just be my Chrome browser is not clearing its cache.

Yes I am familiar with this proceedure… LOL

Funny I can get to my login page in Incognito and Safari but not the regular Chrome browser.

    Thanks Amagsumov!
