Excellent Functionality and Support

I never used the original qTranslate plugin; I only recently had a client needing a multilingual site. After much research, I chose the qTranslate-X fork of qTranslate mainly because it was the only fork that appeared to have recent and regular development activity.

The plugin works great with just a few minor quirks, most of which have been resolved either by the developer or by the entry of custom field IDs and/or custom filters under qTranslate-X’s Advanced Settings. I should also add that many of the quirks were related to other plugins and/or my theme.

I am able to use the plugin with my theme (Nirvana), which has a special Presentation Page that is designed/formatted via various inputs on the theme’s settings page. The inputs accept the qTranslate-X tags so I can have a version of my Presentation Page for each language.

The developer has been extremely attentive and responsive to users seeking support, and he has worked very hard at improving this plugin and fixing various bugs that existed in the original qTranslate plugin.
