Excellent for ratings

I had a fairly complicated project in which the client needed video gamers to compete in various tournaments and he wanted to keep track of everyone’s score. I had never done score management in BuddyPress before and figured I’d need to write a custom plugin. I took a look at the options that were available. Most were “meh” and I was about to write a custom plugin to accomplish the client’s goals. I installed myCRED and it worked perfectly, enough flexibility straight out of the box to accomplish what I needed, but not so much as to bloat the plugin and degrade performance on the site. It’s probably one of the best plugins I’ve used. Is it niche? Yeah. But if you find yourself in a niche where you need to do point rankings of some kind, check out this plugin immediately. It’s fantastic.
