• Pros: Excellent but takes a little knowhow and a *lot* of patience if your site is large (over a few hundred MB).

You need to read all the documents and chat transcripts at their website. You will also probably need to modify some settings on your destination server/directory like .htaccess or the wp-config – follow their directions in the help.

By far the easiest solution for importing a medium-sized site was to get their additional importing plugin extension available on their site. My site was about 460MB and I needed to install the extension to make the import complete itself properly *even though* I had changed PHP, .htaccess, and the wp-config files to accept up to 640M file uplaods, per their directions in the help.

Cons: These help document links should be shown in the plugin itself when installed in WordPress: the links should be on all of the plugin pages (home, export, import, backups) because it would have been a great help to me when I was starting out.

Overall: get it, use it, and if you need to purchase additional plugins from them, do so to keep them financially afloat! ??
