Excellent but a bit rough around the edges

Custom Tables is an EXCELLENT tables plugin, offering many features. Concern: Inadequate documentation…need much more to explain how to activate the tables properly. Also, I could never get some shortcodes (tags) to work in pages ([wcteditpage]+[wctable] combined in a page).
But even with that, it is the best table plugin I could find. Warning: If you create multiple tables using this software, be very careful to not have identical field names in different tables. My experience was that when I had identical field names in two or more tables, records started disappearing from these tables. I did extensive testing and could find no reason for it but when I renamed fields so that there were no duplicated field names among different tables, the disappearing of records stopped immediately. Don’t know cause; only know the solution. I’ve sent 5 suggestions for easy improvements to the programmers, who have been very responsive and helpful.
