• Having tried various front end options for permitting users to edit content I thought I would see if I could re-design my backend to be more user friendly – this is, after all, why one tries to move things to the front end. This does the job better than any I found. For example, some plugins didn’t drop the widgets, meta boxes or other stuff despite trying to deactivate them. This does everything it says.

    One thing it doesn’t appear to do which would be handy is the ability to add a custom link to the admin menu sidebar. For example, I could add a new Profile page (I’ve removed the one provided by WP).
