Excellent – above expectations

  • This is a fabulous plugin. Really easy to use and it has a scheduler that works well.

    BackWPup emails me the archive to my Gmail account … what could be easier ?!!!? Love it !!!!!

    The only thing you might want to be aware of: I wanted to store the backup file in my root directory … I later found out that I did not have access rights to the root folder. When I tried backing up with internet explorer, it failed without showing an error message. When I used chrome, I saw a polite error message. By default the backup folder is the Uploads folder … to which you will have access rights (suggest you trust the defaults).
