• For days I had searched for a free plugin that shipped with all this functionality!
But just as I had settled for a lowly not-to-be-mentioned option, I stumbled upon Forminator.
Turns out this premium product had just been released (free) by the WPMUDEV crew – according to the Whip.

    I couldn’t say thanks enough!

(I look forward to more out-of-the-box integrations, especially to aide in the export of form submissions. And also to table functionality in the form building.)

    Awesomely comprehensive solution!

  • Hello @doryang

Thank you for your awesome review and 5-star rating! We really appreciate it!

The Forminator is a relatively new plugin and we are open to new suggestions. Forminator has already an option to export form submission (please see this screenshot); would you please let us know more information about additional feature that we could add for export a form submissions and what table functionalities you wish to see in the plugin?

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Cheers,

    Ey Nastia,

Sure, I can give more info on that
But maybe I should ask first, seeing that I have not tried the manual export option yet. Will the form submission be output bearing only the input data and fields? Or will it be output in keeping with the form UI on the front end?

If the form data wouldn’t be output in keeping with the form UI, then perhaps the feature I would request would be a PDF export function that would permit for that.
(This obviously would be the lazy way out to going via Google Sheets ?? )

And then, about the table functionality – the ability to create data input fields with multiple columns. Take for instance, with single choice checkboxes….the Row having a label “Service”, and then three Columns that bear ratings of that label “Stellar, Okay, Repulsive”.
So, having a number of such entries, in a table-like front, for a user to interact with accordingly.
That’s the specific need I actually had.
I hope I’ve been able to explain it clearly to you.

    Thanks for getting back!

    Hello @doryang,

It only exports data to CSV format – it looks like that:

Okay, so something like more advanced form builder that allows to not only put whole form elements into columns but also fully customize each element.
Let me pass this to developers, so they can review that and discuss if it will be possible to implement.

    Hello @rasmarcus,

What do you mean that e2pdf can export Forminator submissions?

    kind regards,

Just like the extension in this video (https://youtu.be/_vDo0HiTaT8), E2Pdf can merge the user’s form data from Forminator to PDF forms to create, email, link to, and save dynamic PDF documents.

    Ey @rasmarcus!
Thanks for sharing about the e2pdf plugin!
I have checked it out. I think its premium version will be perfect, but its free version only works for single-page form exports.
And quite conveniently, all the forms I have are multi-paged. ??
