Excel filter & search plugin

  • Hello,

    For a few days now I’ve been seeking a plugin allowing me to import a big Excel database (thousands of lignes and a dozen columns) and with a simple form for the visitor to search and filter the data and find his/her unique answer.

    I’ve seen something like that on several car related products manufacturers website for example :
    https://oilselector.castrol.com/c/us/usa/search

    The database needs to be updated 2-3 times a year, the structure (columns, etc.) stays exactly the same, and obviously I dont want the user to reach the full table because it’s way too big!

    So I prefer to have a simple form, with each box acting as a filter before accessing to the second box, and after 3 or 4 steps you access the final result (either a short list matching all criteria, or a unique solution).

    I don’t know if my description makes sense for you guys, if not let me know and I’ll try to explain differently ^^

    Please, tell me that someone has a solution, even if a paying plugin.

    To make things even clearer, I don’t need to display the table, which is absolutelly huge, but I need a form that allows to search, step by step, filter after filter, this database.
    1- first box you choose between all the variables of column A of the Excel database
    2 – it gives you a filtered list of possibilities in box 2 where you choose another filter matching with all variables from column B
    3 – and so on until you reach the unique result you were searching for.

    I am looking for the same thing… did you find it?
