    Dear Michael

First of all, I would like to sincerely THANK YOU for this excellent plugin, and more specifically for the introduction of Excel .xlsx exports in version 2.10.

That feature really changed my life, due to recurring issues with the CSV exports: UTF8 support, multi-line data in text fields, non-standard delimiters (‘;’) in French-localized versions of Excel, etc. That all belongs in the past now, the xlsx option is just perfect !

The next logical step for me, would be to allow the same format in the [cfdb-export-link] shortcode as well. Do you think that could be implemented in a future version ?

    Thanks in advance
    Damien

You can make that short code produce .xlsx file by adding to it: enc=”xlsx”

    For example:

    [cfdb-export-link form=”Form Name” enc=”xlsx”]

I realize now that the shortcode builder page does not allow you to add that option. I’ll fix that.

    Hello Michael,

Many thanks for your prompt feedback, and the improvement to the shortcode builder page in 2.10.3. I just tested the updated functionality and it works great !

I was going say that the new encoding options were missing from the documentation page https://cfdbplugin.com/?page_id=419, but I just saw you updated that too ??

Just one nitpick: it’s LibreOffice, not LibraOffice.

    Thanks again for your support.
