Exceeded maximum retries while logged in

  • While working on something on a post on the WordPress admin (already logged in), I just went to a different tab for a bit then when I went back to that tab and the login window was already there with the error text: “You have exceeded maximum login retries
    Please try after 15 minute(s)”

    This is weird as I am already logged in.
    What does this mean? If someone is trying to hack into my account, shouldn’t that window pop into their view and not mine?

    I’m using Loginizer Version 1.4.0 through Siteground.
