    Hi,

The plugin works great when I’m using one of the default templates. However, when I switch over to use a template like example-basic-html01.php or any of the other example templates, it breaks when trying to view the PDF on a link like so /?gf_pdf=1&fid=2&lid=17&template=example-basic-html01.php

Instead of a PDF, I just get a blank page. I turned on WP debug and I got the following error:

    Call to undefined method GFCommon::is_currency_decimal_dot()

I am on an old php version (5.2.17). Is that what’s causing this issue?

I just tested it another server with PHP 5.4 and everything appears to be working fine.

Can I assume this issue is caused by the old php version and if so then what can be done about it? (besides upgrading PHP which sadly isn’t an option)

    Hi,

Can you let me know what version of Gravity Forms and Gravity PDF you are currently using?

Based on that error I don’t think the issue is with PHP.

Can you upgrade to the latest version of Gravity Forms (currently 1.9.1.2) on the server you have a problem with and let me know if the problem persists?

Duurrr, I just upgraded gravity forms from 1.8 to 1.9.1.2 and everything works fine now.

Thanks for the help. I’ll close this out now.

Thanks Murphy. We’ll take a look at fixing the backwards compatibility issue with 1.8 too.

Is this issue resolved? I am receiving same error in GF 1.8

@ccdsiu2: Try upgrading to the latest version of Gravity Forms (1.9.1.2). It worked for Murphy.

As to the backwards compatibility issue? Not yet (our lead developer is on leave at the moment).

@ccdsiu2 what is the exact version of Gravity Forms 1.8 you are using?

    I am using version 1.8.3

Thanks. I found 1.8.4+ (or there abouts) introduces this new function. Previous versions don’t have it and have running into problems. We’ll be patching this in our next release.

When can we expect the next release ?

We’re just waiting on access to a premium plugin that had a bug report. Once we find and resolve that issue well be releasing the update. It will likely be this time next week.
