Is there a way to change the subject text order of a blocking notification ? For example, I receive notifications with the subject – example.com Blocking IP 000.000.000.000. It would be very helpful to us to receive it reversed as Blocking IP 000.000.000.000 example.com. This way, we can sort our notifications by subject to see which IPs are affecting all of our websites the most, so that we can add them to the Firewall.

Hi @chicagola, thank-you for your request.

At this time, the subject order is not a plugin setting and any manual changes to the code would be overwritten by future updates. I believe the current format is related to a high number of customers keeping an eye on multiple websites for themselves and their clients, so the domain the alert is related to is often the first thing they need to know.

Generally, we consider a manual blocking regime unnecessary as it can be time consuming to add IPs you’re currently noticing, but keep up with their reassignment, or that they’re no longer displaying malicious intent in the future. Wordfence should protect all of your sites from the same “bad” IPs (if the same IP is indeed accessing them all) and considers the intent of a human/bot the most important factor when blocking by looking at the pages they’re trying to visit – and how.

We do however consider all requests internally, so have forwarded yours to the team. We can’t provide ongoing updates about possible development work or specific update schedules here on the forum.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
