• Got tired of manually editing plugins that authors always seem to want to pretentiously add right to the main menu, when they should be added to the Settings or Tools menu instead.

    Searched awhile but seemed like there wasn’t already a plugin to do this and thought I’d have to suck it up and write my own until I found this one. Works excellent!

    Seems there are a couple of plugin that can’t be dropped into another menu though (i.e. Wordfence, Popups, Jetpack), but other than that, it’s perfect for my use.

  • You may have already figured it out, but if you can’t delete them you can hide those menus completely and then re-add the references to the links under another menu, or you can repurpose the menu by changing the name and rolling other links in to it. I prefaced the sub menu links with “Jetpack -” and used CSS to color code the word Jetpack to differentiate the links. I did the same for each plugin I wished to keep.
