Exactly what I needed!

Works like a charm. Sends notification with a post link in a customizable message (you can use the canned messages, which are fine, or you can write your own to insert your personality or whatever greeting and message you like). I like that it’s a manual send, so if I update posts or for whatever other reason I don’t want my subscribers notified of a new post, they won’t be. Love having that control. Sending is easy…publish your post, then scroll down and click the post notif send button. Done.

I ran into a bit of glitch trying to install this plugin, left a message on the plugin forum, and within hours the plugin author was on top of things, super helpful and responsive, and got me up and running in no time. Great service.
