From what I understand, exact internal linking is not good practice. So I have to redo the internal linking of 104 posts.

I’m perplexed about adding any adjacent words, because they may not match the reader’s intent.

Finally, I put words in reverse order:

    • keyword A and keyword B, keyword B and keyword A. This strategy led to the generation of many possible interesting, but also junk, internal links.
    • If I add gap words, could it result in bad internal links? I was thinking a maximum of 5 keywords is a good value or would it be nonsense? Some time ago on a site I tried 3 keywords, but I had few internal links.
    • I also have links with a single keyword, I will bring this one to 5 keywords with the gap, but I remain skeptical about the result.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thank you for contacting us.

The setting of keywords would depend on your SEO strategy, if using gaps in keywords would work better in your site, you can use it. When writing content it is also best practice to keep your keywords in mind to use them strategically.
In our plugin, we have an option to link only posts that are inside the same category/term , which lets you link only more relevant posts to each other.
