Evolve theme does not use language translation

The theme does not seem to use language settings. There are proper pl_PL .mo and .po files but I still have to change “Older Entries”, “Suggested posts” and other items by child theme or CSS modifications. Maybe there is some other language selection than in “General” WordPress settings?
