Everything works, except style.css…try it.

    Everything else seem fine except style.css. Won’t let me update. Permissions all set to 666.

  • Make sure that directory permissions are 777 instead of 666, if that’s not the case.

    You have enabled a possible attack vector on all the sites hosted on your account. It may be possible for people to use this to upload php scripts to exploit not only this site but also the site that this site is located in a subfolder of.

    I would strongly recommend that you delete the guest account immediately and check all of your files very carefully for changes or additions.

    Thanks for that. I still cannot figure out why style.css won’t update.
    I only get this:

    “Forbidden
    You don’t have permission to access /website/wp/wp-admin/theme-editor.php on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

    This means that the web server cannot access /website/wp/wp-admin/theme-editor.php. So if this file exists, check the file permissions and the permissions of the directories above and fix them.

    Also make sure that you don’t confuse the path in the filesystem with the URL, it seems unlikely that /website/ should be part of the URL…
