Everything seems properly configured but no posts published

    I’ve set up a post submission form configured to send the submission to the specified authorized email address set up in Postie. Testing the connection confirms that it’s set up correctly and the debug screen shows that post email messages are seen in the email account.

    Still no posts show up on the WordPress posts list.

    I’m at a loss to sort out the issue. Anyone have suggestions about where else to look?

    Further to my original topic, I just checked my WordPress Media gallery and the image that was attached to the test messages I sent are all available there, so it appears that the email submissions are being received… just no post being created.

    Final resolution… I had set Postie > User > Default Post Status to “request-pending” instead of “pending”

    Everything appears to be working properly now.
