I realize you state in a recent comment that the bug was fixed. I have just spent the last several hours furiously trying to figure out where and how my site was hacked because links to my site from other websites all redirected to Google.com. I could click on links internally just fine. It was when I tried to access my site from another website via a link. This is a huge snafu.

How often do people click on links to their own website from other sites?? Probably a lot more people have this issue and don’t even realize it.

I have your latest version installed but it still does it. I have turned EVERYTHING OFF. And one by one turned it all back on. Its your plugin that is causing the issue.

Can you please contact me here so we can work on this together?

Confirmed that I have this bug too, and deactivating solves the problem:

Activate the plug-in at “Site A.”
Create content on “Site B” that links to a page on “Site A.”
Click on that link on Site B, and it will go to Google, not Site A.

    Thanks,

    David

We have a dozen-or-so websites that are experiencing the same behavior — links from other websites are redirected to Google. My guys are now deactivating the Semalt Blocker plugin. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance!

    Hi

    Same for me

If anyone can allow me FTP and admin access to their site please fill out this form and let me know as I can’t replicate on any other site I’ve tested with.

Hi Alex! I have to say I’m really surprised that you can’t replicate this. Maybe it has to do with the kind of link, etc.

Can you post the url of a site that has the plug-in enabled? I’ll link to it in the same way that I did when I got the error, using a test site that I’ll post, and we can see if we can replicate it.

    Thanks,

    David

I’ve been able to test on another site and now updated to 1.1.3. This is live on peadig.com and have tested with a couple of sites.

Can you confirm this works for you now?

Works for me! : ) Thank you!

Well done! Looks like that fixed it. I will be testing in other websites and will post any news of problems. Thank you for fixing this!
