Everything is so bad since version 4.x

  • On version 3.6.4, everything is pretty great. However, they got worse since version 4.x:
    – The Guest Mode feature is too buggy. LiteSpeedTech apparently trying to earn extra money from QUIC.Cloud CDN?
    – Load Inline JS feature has been removed. Why remove it? I can’t delay inline JS without this feature.
    – CLS index increased rapidly. Loading speed drops. There is a problem with JS and CSS optimization.
    – Website has many display errors.
    I had to downgrade the LiteSpeed Cache plugin on my websites to version 3.6.4. Don’t install or upgrade to version 4.x if you don’t want to face bad stuff.

    Guest Mode + Guest Optimization are intended to improve page speed scores, but they may not be appropriate for actual human visitors, depending on your site’s configuration. This is why it’s is disabled by default. We highly recommend you test your site before you enable it, and if it negatively impacts user experience, we recommend keeping it off.

    – Load Inline JS feature has been removed. Why remove it? I can’t delay inline JS without this feature.

    This setting was combined with the JS Combine External and Inline setting and can then be delayed with the Load JS Deferred setting.

    – CLS index increased rapidly. Loading speed drops. There is a problem with JS and CSS optimization.
    – Website has many display errors.

    Do these issues get better when Guest Mode is turned off? If not, please create a ticket or post a support topic.
