• I got through the initial installation phase successfully. Now I don’t understand what to do. I know you can control how your blog looks, posts, etc, through wp-admin. My index.php file, however, just looks like a big directory. Shouldn’t it be my actual blog?

    I’m a little lost.

I figured out that I needed to move index.php to the right place in the directory. I did so, and now I’m getting an error message as seen below:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_header() in /home/christine/www/www/blog/index.php on line 2

Hey busyone, did you move all the files to the right place? It seems that index is working fine, but it encounters an error with the first object, header. It apparently can’t find your header.php file. Remember, after youa€?ve downloaded and unpacked the file, you copy the contents of the file to your directory, not the file itself.
