• I just installed WP on my site and made some test posts but once you open an article EVERYTHING is a hyperlink that leads to the homepage. What do I do to solve this? It is very annoying.

    I am using Glossy Stylo and here is My site.

  • Can you replicate the issue with the deafult theme (2013) and with all plugins disabled?

    No, the issue is with the glossy stylo theme. Can you still tell me how to get rid of this problem?

    You might consider asking the theme author. He could know if there’s an easy fix.

    How do I ask him? Is there a PM option or should I post another thread?

    If everything in the post is a link the whole post is probably wrapped in an (anchor) tag.

    exactly as I suspected, everything in your post is wrapped around an anchor tag with an href of your home_url…

    Evan, have you visited the site? Please check it so you can be sure.

    check the image I just attached up above. I am not familiar with that specific theme but I would suspect all that code lies within ‘single.php’

    and the layout would look something like this

    <a href="<?php echo blog_info('home'); ?>">
       <?php the_content(); ?>
    </a>

    I can’t find that in single.php, but adding one hyperlink removes all others.

    what is your single page code? (just the section that calls the content on to the page)

    (@mshayan)

    An empty tag removes the hyperlinks. I ill be using this method until I find a good solution.

    This is the single.php file

    <?php
    get_header();
    ?>

    	<div id="content" class="narrowcolumn" role="main">

    	<?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

    				<div id="postbg">
