I managed to export all my files from my foldered ‘beta’ site to the base address I wanted to use and, although all the files look to have copied over, the site is practically blank and messed up.

When I imported the file, the theme didn’t transfer over properly and I had to reinstall that manually, which seems to have been the main problem. Now it won’t let me save any changes I make to the theme options which is very strange.

Any ideas?

UPDATE:

I can now save the theme settings (the style.css was messed up so I re-imported it) and the site shows a little more of what it should, but it’s still a mess.

FURTHER NOTE:

* Sorry – I keep playing whilst waiting for a reply.

I’ve set up a redirect to the beta site, so the link I gave previously to https://darrenbolton.co.uk/ will look fine.

I’d still like to fix the actual site at the true address if possible, so please don’t assume I’ve fixed the issue.

Hi Dave,

Have you tried saving your permalinks structure after importing from beta?
See if that changes anything

Once you go to that page, click on save changes 2 times. Then see if you can access the website.
