Everything breaks when switching theme!

I love this plugin, however every time I switch the theme for checking a few things, the whole website breaks!
The only thing I get is a blank page.
The only way to fix it is to log in via FTP, delete this plugin, switch back to Genesis and then re-upload the plugin.
