Everyone is aged 44 – Birthday Field

hi there, i have the same issue here, latest 1.5.9.6 and wordpress 3.9.2.

Paton400 – any luck resolving?

My users definately have varying ages but everybody on profile page has their age at 44.

I think I’ve narrowed this down a little. It’s only after initial registration that members are aged 44. That’s with using the D.O.B field as a base field, signing up and viewing profile.

If you the edit the field in profile and save, the age is then displayed correctly. Any thoughts anyone.

I am also using wpmu membership plugin.

Try to see in database what value is stored in the field… I’ve tried on my test site and it works.

hi donmik, i can tell you now that i have got it to work but not having the age field as an extra field on the base field values. I moved it to a new field group and seems to work ok. many thanks

Just to tell:
If i use D.O.B field (with show age activate) or date selector, the age still 44.
If i use D.O.B field (with show age deactivate), it shows the today date (22th of september).
Please help.

what i meant is that i moved the question DOB off the field group called BASE – the base information is the group of questions asked when someone registers. Have an extra group of fields then added dob to that – all worked fine afterwards.

@csimpson: ok thanks, but I need to keep the age field in the base group.

@donmik: in the database the value of the age field is like this “1981-01-29 00:00:00”. Birth dates are like users filled it.
Can you please advice ?

@donmik: as you ‘ve tried on your test site, It must be a theme issue.
