Since installing this plugin my pages are all showing the latest posts. I have tried deactivating all my plugins to see if there was a conflict and there was not.

I tried saving the permalink structure and that’s not it.

I even tried using a different custom post type plugin to see if I would get the same result and it worked like it was supposed to.

I would prefer to stick with this plugin because I have created a lot of posts with a post type.

Anyone have a clue why my pages want to show latest posts instead of what the page is supposed to show?

I was never able to figure out the issue but I found a solution. I activated the other custom post type plugin, created the same custom posts types, deactivated this plugin and everything is working fine on my site now.

So strange that one plugin works while the other doesn’t.

Very curious issue, since we don’t do anything that should be interfering with queries like that to show the latest post regardless of where you go.

Out of curiosity, what are the post type slugs you were using? Perhaps there was conflict there?

I have the same problem, what are the slugs that are prohibited?

I found out the prohibited slug is “year”

1.3.0, due this week, should have much better reserved slug prevention.
