Events slider no longer works after update to PHP 8.0

  • Hi, until recently we used the Smooth Slider plugin to show some featured Events in a slideshow from the Events Manager plugin.
    As is mentioned / recommended on the demo page (https://demo.wp-events-plugin.com/)

    After the update to PHP 8.0 the slideshow no longer works unfortunately. And the Smooth Slider seems abandondened. So we are looking for an alternative slider to highlight some events.

    I had a look at the PRO features but don’t see it there. Do you know of an alternative slider we can use to highlight some events?
