The events show up on the correct dates but the titles say “undefined”. What might be causing this?

Example title “The Wisdom of Meditation ~ Empowerment”

Howdy! I’d need to see the page you’re having trouble with to offer any suggestions. Thanks!

Hi, I just installed this plugin and am having the same issue. I’ve gone to my google calendar to make sure the privacy is available to the public as showing only free/busy. Events are showing up at the correct date and time, but they say ‘undefined’ which I feel is confusing as to whether that’s an available time slot or is booked (‘undefined’ should say ‘busy’). I’d appreciate your advice. I plan on doing more with this app (seeing if it can synch with ClassPass and Woocommerce bookings!) so I’m sure we’ll be chatting more in the future. Unless there’s a quick answer that Pretty Calendars for Google doesn’t work with those apps. Thanks!

Without a link to your site, it’s only a guess, but I’d assume in “free/busy” mode there is nothing in the title, so therefore it’s registering as undefined. This is something we could look into. Added an issue here: https://github.com/lbell/pretty-google-calendar/issues/41

As for integrations with other apps, this plugin is only designed to handle google calendar feeds.

Hi there, I joined github to follow that discussion. Thank you for the info that the calendar will only work with google calendar. Here is a link to the page where I’m using the pretty google calendar. PS – just started using this. Thank you, if I can get it to work it will be very helpful ?? General Availability – Mama Earth Wellness (mamaearthmassage.com)

I’m going to double check everything to make sure it’s not a privacy issue on my calendar’s end anywhere. Thanks again ??

Hi, I’m having the same issue. I just clicked on @realmamaearth ‘s post and it doesn’t look like it’s been resolved. I’ve also experimented with the differences between free/busy modes and it looks like my title is showing both ways. Here are screen shots: the first one shows it within the google calendar page.

The second pic shows it one my website:
