• I have installed a the new 0.8 version in my online dev system, because i didn’t want to update my working site yet.

I saw no problems in installation (only some errors because there was no prior events in the db). But after adding a second event, now the Events page goes to “Archives: Events” instead of listing the events.

    I run php 7.0.26.

    Thanks

Changing the Slug to something else seems to work.

Some conflict, not sure with what, since my WP dev system is empty and all plugins disabled.

ok, i found the cause of the problem. I have WordPress permalinks as:

    Custom Structure: /%category%/%postname%/

It seems the “%category%” is doing the conflict.

Using some of the other options seems to work fine. So the question is how do we solve this ?

I would like to correct my above post. Even with ” Post name” as permalinks, it goes to “Events Archive”. So it is not a permalinks settings.

It seems the the “events” slug is the cause.

And this is from the debug.log

PHP Notice: Undefined property: EL_Event::$slug in /home/wp-content/plugins/event-list/admin/includes/event-category_functions.php on line 200
