I have events that display properly on their individual page but when I have the next four events of a particular category display on my homepage the time reverts back to 24-form, the excerpt just ends without a “…”, and the author is always the same person, no matter who made the event.

    What is going on?

Thanks for any and all help.

do you have sample link to your site with this issue for us to see and analyze please?

Unfortunately no. I’m thinking that since I’m using CrunchPress’ PageBuilder with it to place it on the page it is somehow breaking the format but it puts the page together but cannot understand how.

Does it work ok without PageBuilder running?

I could turn off PageBuilder and just remake the homepage by hand but part of the reason the client wanted PageBuilder was so that they could be more independent with updates later on. So even if we could get it to work like it should without PageBuilder that wouldn’t be a long term solution.

I know this is a stupid question but I’ve made enough stupid mistakes to know I should still ask it: Under Settings > Formatting > Date/Time I have “Use 24h Format?” on “No”. This is supposed to be what makes the pages display in 12h format, correct? Everywhere else (the Events Page is really the only other place time is displayed) everything is in the proper format. So why just when I use the CrunchPress PageBuilder to show a certain category of events on the home page?

And even stranger, this page had events being displayed properly before. They only broke after I changed the category that was being displayed on the front page.

Any ideas? It’s mostly a great plugin, it’d be a shame if this was something that couldn’t be resolved.

That setting is correct for what you want to do, so I’m not sure this is connected with Events Manager directly.

What do you have set for “Time Format” under the main WordPress Settings menu?

Under Settings > General > Time Format I have the first option selected “10:05 am g:i a”

I that case I’d say this is either problem with your theme or PageBuilder.

Okay, thanks! Just thought I’d check.

    No problem ??
