Events post meta and REST API

Good day,

I hope I am not asking something that has already been treated, but it does not seem simple to search for topics within the plugin’s forum as far as I know… So here it goes:

Trying to develop a simple app (using angular and WP-API, a REST API producing JSON output from posts) to complement our events website.

The trouble is, the REST API plugin does not include post meta for security reasons. Now some plugins like Pods or ACF include a checkbox that allows a custom field to be included in REST. Is there such thing available or possible for Events Manager?

I am thinking at least including an event’s _start_ts and _end_ts, to enable querying upcoming events, which seems impossible to do, currently.

Also, any other method allowing me to get upcoming events in the JSON API would be welcome!
