    this seems to be working fine with my test sites; to narrow down the problem have you tried to temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    – deactivate/activate Events Manager

    check your wp_em_events database table to see if something got out of sync, all your event_status fields should = 1

    It turns out that the event_status for one event was zero. After changing the status to 1, the phantom event went away.

    Note that this wasn’t an issue with other plugins or the theme. It would not have been fixed by restarting Events Manager.

    yes, this is a bug if you have approvals turned off, will be fixed in next update
