  • Hey there @mattm3,

Thanks for your interest in our products!

Sometimes when theme developers use different classes for their theme headings, it makes it tough for plugins like ours to pick up on.

This can be a quick fix at times: go to Events → Settings → Display and change the default template to default events template.

If that doesn’t work, you may have to look into our Themer’s Guide to make this theme completely compatible with The Events Calendar.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Ed,

    Thanks for the reply ??

Unfortunately changing to the default template didn’t work – I’ll have to have a look at the Themer’s Guide and see if I can manage to work out how to do it.

    Thanks again

    Regards

    Matt

    Hey Matt,

In this situation, I’d actually create a custom page template that includes wp_title(). The Themer’s Guide is more The Events Calendar specific but this issue is really the theme using a different CSS class so the plugin can’t use it.

    Take care,
    Ed ??

    Hi Courtney,

Apologies I forgot to reply to this, I haven’t had a chance to try this out yet as my client has put the website on hold for a bit but when I do get back to it is it OK to open a new ticket or reopen this one for any additional help if needed?

    Thanks

    Matt
