    Hi sonix288,

Thanks for your post. I’m sorry you’re having trouble. This sounds silly, but you might try just re-saving your Events –> Settings page and flushing your permalinks. Also, have you tried deactivating other plugins to look for a conflict, or switching to a default theme like Twenty Twelve? If you need help, please read this guide to testing for conflicts.

If you can isolate this as an issue that’s inherent to The Events Calendar, we’d be happy to look into it further. Unfortunately, we can’t help troubleshoot conflicts here on the free forum. If you do find a conflict, you can try getting in touch with the developer of the theme or plugin and see if they can shed some light on the issue.

We also have some resources that might be helpful for you in troubleshooting a conflict:

? Themer’s Guide – provides an overview of how to customize the plugin’s frontend appearance.
? Tutorials – useful tips and tricks for changing how the plugin looks and behaves.
? Technical Docs – provides an overview of the classes and functions in each plugin

Good luck, and thanks for using The Events Calendar!

I just checked again with a brand new wordpress install and twent-twelve installed and the same issue applies. Actually the page /events/upcoming doesnt even exist anymore, the only reason it was redirecting was because wordpress can’t find the page anymore. I also tried your suggestion of updating settings and permalinks.

It looks like with the new version you guys switched the default url for the events page from /events/upcoming to /events, which breaks any links going to the previous events page and messes up any seo efforts.

Can you guys please switch it back, or allow the option to switch it?

    Hi sonix288,

I’m sorry if the change messed up your links. I recommend that you use a redirect plugin so that your links and SEO will be fixed. Also, please note that with every release we do a blog post highlighting things like this so that people know before they update and can anticipate issues. Please keep an eye out for that before you update the calendar ??

    Best,
    Leah
