events page not found

Hi!

I have added events manager plugin to my website.
Also added “events” page to the menu.
But when i open the page i get a “page not found” error.

I am usin custom permalinks that includes index.php before the page in the page link (www.example.com/index.php/events)

tried to resave permalinks in wp settings
also tried to change Permalink Slugs under Events Page settings to index.php/events

still no luck. Cant get the page to display!

any suggestions?
