Events out of order?

My events list is out of order – I’m not sure why this could be happening. I’m using the shortcode:

Page is behind a member wall. I would just like the events to be in chronological order.
Currently running your plugin Version 2.2.5. Avada theme 7.8.2.

I am also experiencing this issue, along with some unusual errors:

Update: the error messages go away when I set a limit on the number of items that appear. But the events are still out of order.
